I would like to know if anyone can help me identify this plate, it's name or type, age
or anything else. I tried a Chinese porcelain site, and they said ...................
_________________________________________________" I am not 100% sure what this is. It is either a very early Chinese Imari plate (Kangxi), or it is Japanese. The decoration of twigs with blossoms makes it look more Japanese to me ".

The plate is 9" across, and slightly warped. There are no marks on the bottom.

Thank You.

Hi Kurt

Your plate is Chinese early 18th century Imari palette.

You can always tell the difference between an early Chinese or japanese plate by simply lying them face down and see if they 'wobble'...

If it wobbles it's Chinese!

Best Wishes,

Gary
