Subject:mark on Japanese bronze

I found this mark on a Japanese vase. Anybody able to decypher it?

Thanks,

M.

It looks like it may be the following in standard kanji (unicode standard characters used for those who have the software to read them and Jia as in 'excellent' and 'Hua' as in 'flower' or 'splendor' for Chinese and Sinophiles):

‰Ã‰Ø

If I'm right it would be the name Yoshika (Yoshige) in Japanese, with a meaning of 'excellent blossoms', something hpefully to be heard soon when the cherry trees bloom.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Those characters didn't work out, so here they are as photo images. Regards, Bill H.
