Can you give me any information on this piece? I am stumped as to who could have made this and how old this piece may be. Not sure if it could Kutani or Imari?

Generally such an item is called a jardiniere. Usually for potted plants and can get quite big. THe largest one are also used as a fish bowl. This example is almost certainly a Chinese made mass produced item which unfortunately only has decorative value.

Hello Jon,

I don't think it's Japanese. It looks like Hong Kong ware to me of the later 20th. Century. Are you sure it isn't partly printed?
