Subject:Calligraphy on Chinese dish
Posted By: Riky Tue, Sep 29, 2026 IP: 87.9.92.182

I have this small footed dish in Qianjiang style decorated.
The bottom mark is Guangxu, I don’t know if it is m&p or a bit later.
For the calligraphy I need help.

Thank you.

Inscription,
仿八大山人法
Painted in the style of Bada Shanren

Bottom mark,
光緒年制
Made During the Guangsu Reign

The characters “中” and “記,” arranged on the right and left, are likely to be part of a tanghao (workshop or shop name) or a mark or signature of the artist or the person who commissioned the work.

It is likely —approximately 80% to 90%— that the piece you own is an M&P.

With regards,
I.Nagy
