I've attached the cover illustration on Kabuki Shinpō 16 picturing the character Tamahashi Oden 玉橋お伝 (played by Onoe Kikugorō V) on the left, as identified by the circular inset on her kimono reading おでん, and a character I cannot identify from the identifying circular inset on the right in the play Tojiawase Oden no Kanabumi 綴合於伝仮名書 performed at the Shintomiza in May 1879. (I thought it must be the character Satō Shichizō 佐藤七蔵, but the characters in the attached circular inset don't correspond with that name.) I've also attached a pot-shaped seal on the illustration that I can't read. Your help, as always, is greatly appreciated.

Characters written within the circular frame on the right read 市太郎　"Ichitarō" - Oden’s lover

The character “作” (written in seal script) is inscribed within the pot-shaped seal.
