Hi. It seems like ? ? 山 樵 / and the seal looks like 貫義/華? 之印 - but it's a tough one for me - any help would be greatly appreciated!

都らよ志 → つらよし Tsurayoshi
Seal,
貫義 Tsurayoshi

Yamana Tsurayoshi 山名貫義 1836-1902
A Japanese painter of the Meiji era. Although he is not well known today, he was highly regarded in his time as the last great master of Yamato-e.

With regards
I.Nagy

Once again I am humbled by your knowledge and grateful for your help! So very few painters do something like 都らよ志, but I absolutely see it now! ...and the Gods said - Let There Be Light!

Not very helpful but I believe you have the seal correctly read as 貫義 and that the final character of the inscription reads 志 but I am struggling with candidates for the first three characters
