Please tell me if the image indicates an original art and what are the indications?
I'd like to sell my art but unsure how to go about it.

Thank you for any information.

The painting depicts academic practice at a private school. Children (young attendants) and attendants serving them can also be seen in the background, depicting a refined and harmonious scene of daily life and scholarship. The use of pale colors and brushstrokes carries on the traditions of literati painting and genre painting from the Ming and Qing dynasties onward.
Inscriptions,
庚寅七月 Year of Metal-Tiger、July (1950)
煙樵老人 Yanqiao-laoren (Old Man of the Smoky Woods) - Pseudonym cum courtesy name

Lower seal,
張湯銘 Zhang Tangming - Surname and given name

Zhang Tangming 張湯銘 (1888-1952) , originally named Shenfu, courtesy name Yanqiao, was a native of Fuzhou. He is said to have been a disciple of Lin Shu. He excelled in landscape painting, claiming to purely follow his teacher's style while occasionally incorporating elements of Gong Xian's work, employing a rich and profound brushwork. He occasionally painted flowers, characterized by their elegance and refinement.
Before 1948 he was the owner of the Fuzhou Longzhu Painting Academy.

Several of his works are listed for auction on the ARTNET website.

With regards,
I.Nagy
