Subject:Bronze Guanyin age and country of origin ?

Can anyone here judge the age of this bronze Guanyin ? It is 9 " tall and weighs 3 1/2 lbs.The base is sealed w/ a sheet of bronze. This is weighted- fragments of clay or sand rattle around inside.
When I tap the base sheet it dings like a drum, further up no ding/echo-the core becomes more solid
There are traces of incised or cast seals on the reverse, either very lightly done or worn away.
