梅花書屋擬
石田翁筆意 荷香
Plum Blossom Study Imitation
After the painting style of Shitian the Old Man* by Kakō
Seal、
西山山庵内 Nishiyama San'an-nai - In the Nishiyama Mountain Hut

* Was the pseudonym of Shen Zhou 1427-1509 Ming Dynasty painter

After doing some research, the only name that came up as a possibility was that of an artist named Maeda Kakō (前田荷香) 1832-1905 a Nanga style painter from Kyōto.He was one of the founding members of Japan Nanga Association (1897)
The “Nishiyama” in the seal impression is likely a reference to the Nishiyama area in Kyōto.

With regards,
I.Nagy
