what is written in the vertical rays of rain from this print:Sudden Shower in the Summer Heat, by Kuniyoshi 1849

The countless thick vertical lines drawn across the picture represent heavy rain, but on closer inspection behind the vertical rain lines, there are inscriptions in some places that appear to be addresses -also written vertically— but are very difficult even to recognize. Among these, the numbers in chome and banchi stand out more and more.

歌川国芳による浮世絵「Shochu no yudachi 暑中の夕立 (Sudden Shower in the Summer Heat), 1849–51 by Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797–1861)
Three women are caught in the pelting rain of a summer shower. They have stowed their sandals in their sashes to keep them dry. Their umbrellas are marked with the name of a restaurant, Chūshuntei Tagawaya [located in Yoshiwara, Edo], whose owners may have commissioned the print.
