* Tenarai is the title of the penultimate volume of The Tale of Genji that depicts the heroine Ukifune's attempted drowning and the subsequent rebirth and entry into the world of nuns.

This series combine elements of The Tale of Genji with the backdrop of the fifty-three stations on the Tōkaidō road from Edo to Kyōto.
