Based on thorough computational digital search and analysis, the findings can be summarized as follows:
- Thin walls
- An interior spiral ridge pattern consistent with the type of interior surface preservation seen in authenticated Yuan lost-wax bronzes
- Presence of a red bole lacquer layer
- Facial proportions consistent with the Yuan Buddhist court style
βGiven these characteristics (described in much details), a Yuan attribution appears more plausible than Qing or late Ming, and remains competitive with an early Ming dating.β
Does this conclusion make sense? While informative and helpful, the algorithm may be biased depending on the contextual inputs and reference data sources?!
Of course, without much physical testing and close examination, it is hard to judge from just a few photos! Just hope that one(s) might have had the experience and knowledge to share π
