in the foreground of this print by eisen do we see nihonbashi bridge or ryogoku bridge?
Apart from "Holland" written on top right, do the other characters have a meaning?

江戸日本橋ヨリ富士ヲ見ル啚
英泉画
View of Mount Fuji from Nihonbashi Bridge in Edo
Painted by Eisen

As mentioned in the title, Nohonbashi Bridge is in the foreground. The painting depics a perspective of the Nihonbashi Bridge, main shopping street, Edo Castle and the Tanzawa-Musashi mountain range reaching up to Mt. Fuji.
In addition to the word "Holland" the combined letters VOC in the frame are the mark of the mark of the Dutch East India Company.

With regards,
I.Nagy
