Subject:Chinese Qilin?

Hi All,
Here's two bronze statues I purchased today. I'd appreciate your thoughts if these are Chinese Qilins. I've seen almost exact versions of this as from Nepal, Tibet, and China. There's also comments that they are lions and/or Foo Dogs. I believe it's a Qilin but not sure. Also, they have a mark on the back right leg. Thanks much!
