Subject:Translation of inscription
Posted By: Cameron Thu, Mar 06, 2025 IP: 70.160.242.15 This Momoyama or early Edo chawan came in a box with an inscription that I understand refers to Hasegawa. Anyone able to translate it? Could it indicate that the chawan was once owned by Hasegawa Tōhaku, the Momoyama painter whom Hideyoshi favored? |
