Signature,
興信之筆 - Painted by Kōshin
Seal,
藤原 - Fujiwara

Kanō Kōshin 狩野興信 b.unknown d.1774
Was the adopted son of Kanō Sadanobu (定信)the founder of the Akita Branch of Kanō painters. (Not same with Kanō Sadanobu 狩野貞信)

Fujiwara was the original surname of the Kanōs.
Many Kanō painters used Fujiwara seals.

With regards,
I.Nagy

The reading of the signature is wrong. Its by Kano Michinobu 狩野 典信.

Here an example of it in the British Museum with the same seal:

Its probably one of a set of six paintings showing the six famous poets. Yours is Ōtomo no Kuronushi, who is painted usually in a green robe. The color seems bleached away now.
Michinobu is a very good painter. Your painting is not a forgery but has very limited value.
