Subject:Mushaka iconography

Hello—

I’m wondering if someone can help me with this small bronze eye brought back from Thailand. I had assumed it was Mushaka, the varana of Ganesh, however I don’t understand the iconography where he is crouching over a large oval bowl supported by several smaller bowl-like objects that look like halved avocados. I know it’s not likely more than a few decades old if that, I’m just curious about the representation. Thanks in advance.
