I have been trying to find out the origin (Chinese or Japanese?) and the age of this Jar. It has three pannels with plant images and three with hand written text. I have not found anything similar, i.e with three panels with text neither on Google search, nor Ebay, nor Etsy.
Also I have not been able to find any translation that makes any sense, so far. Would there be anyone who could help? I'd be grateful for any comments. Many thanks - Liza

For now, I have only had time to translate only two, and I will come back later with the third.

They (chrysanthemums) do not compete with flowers in the spring breeze,

Thank you so much Mr Nagy for the two translations. I am looking forward to reading the third. The poems correspond to the images of plants on the other three panels: chrysantemum, tree blossom and I think stylized bamboo. The calligraphy is beautiful and the cobalt pigment a very dark blue which made me think that the jar was quite old. The stamp resmbles the reign mark of Kangxi, but this just might be a tribute to an older work.
May I also ask a question whether you'd be able to look at a celadon vase? It is crackled but the shape is not traditional chinese.

The tribute reign mark reads,
重煕年製　-　Made During the Chongxi Reign*

* Name of reign in the Liao Dynasty (1032-1055)

I believe that the jar dates from the years 1970-2000s, all the more so because it is adorned with a verse quote from Guo Moro.

I'm waiting for your posting with the crackle vase.

Dear Mr Nagi, thank you so much for your reply with the translation of the third panel. I appreciate it very much. All of this prompted me to find out more about the authors of the poems. It's so great to learn about different cultures and their literature.
The age of the jar is not surprising given the poem on the 2nd panel. It would be too good otherwise. :)
I am now attaching three pics of the crackled Celadon?? vase. The back is plain but equally crackled.H30cm x width 24cm. Could it be modern Korean? Looking forward to your reply. With kind regards - Liza

Categorically can be stated that the green trees in the mountains are not relaxed,
because their roots are in broken rocks.
Even if there are a lot of hard blows, they will remain strong,
let the wind blow from the East, West, South or North.

This poem comes from a painting inscription by the
Qing Dynasty painter Zheng Banqiao.
