Subject:Help required identifying Indonesian Batik artist
Posted By: Antony Palmer Thu, Nov 07, 2024 IP: 82.36.44.169 Picked this up recently in London. Would appreciate some assistance regarding this signed batik. Dimensions. 36 X 19 inches. Does anyone know what fabric is used here (silk, wool, cotton?) I understand the landscape is Mount Merapi and the second word is Yogyakarta, the date created 1978. Primarily can anyone decipher the signature?
