Hi Jack,
From the limited image I believe that these are elephant ivory statues.
They are not very old and would imo date from the 70's possibly 80's and probably carved in Hong Kong.
As to value its a bit tricky because of the world wide ban on the export of ivory carvings.
The market has picked up considerably especially in Europe and Australia.
They appear to be a decent size and without cracks etc etc.
For your information if these were in a Australian auction scenario they would sell for between $800-1500 for the pair.
If you plan on keeping them please keep them away from direct heating to avoid cracks and have a small cup/other full of water to keep them hydrated to avoid cracking.
