Subject:Chinese Artist Seals- do you recognise these works?
Posted By: Farrah Fri, Jun 21, 2024 IP: 159.196.123.244

Hello,
We were given 2 artwork that was gifted to my parents by their father 50 year ago.
One is watercolour and the other is possibly ink.
My Grandfather bought them from an exhibition.

Could anyone be able to tell us if they recognise the artists work or the artist seal?

Hi, Farrah,

The painter's name is Shen Shijia (1906-2001) , a known modern Chinese painter.

Best regards!
