Subject:Kano School Paintings

Hello,
Recently I bought several Kano School ink and gold paintings on paper. The description said that the paintings were about "traditional occupations and scenes from literature". If anybody has more detailed information about these paintings I would appreciate it. Also, if possible, the name of the artist(s). Thanks.

these paintings are at best copies but rather paintings in the manner of earlier kanou school paintings. probably done for study by a trainee or an amateur. the brushwork is mediocre and without character. especially bad is the handling of the shaded ink and the gold shading.
