Subject:Bowl Seal Identification
Posted By: Bello Mon, May 13, 2024 IP: 49.130.128.102 Great if i can help some help on this porcelain rooster bowl passed down from my grandparents. Great if someone can help identify the period and if it’s of any value? Or any additional information would be highly appreciated! |

Posted By: Madria Tue, May 14, 2024 In my opinion this is a modern / vintage piece in poor imitation of 19th and early 20th century chinese bowl decoration. The mark reads "da qing nian zhi" (Great Qing Year Made) and is apocryphal, so not of the period. Only of decorative value. |

Sorry for any inconvenience. But regarding the qulaity of the piece I stand to my initial assessment. Thanks again for the update, mikeoz. |
