Subject:Rabbit with flute - are there any folkloric tales?

I bought this primarily because I was born in the year of the rabbit and it seemed to be a better than average quality eg striations indicating fur and a deep ear canal.
Is this just a nice bunny or might it relate to some Chinese tale?
A Chinese friend suggested that the stamp under the base is a seal used by a master potter, Luo Chuan, who has a wikipedia entry but no email information. If anyone has contact information for him or his workshop it would be greatly appreciated.
