Subject:Jin Mengshi paintings
Posted By: Zac Thu, Jun 29, 2023 IP: 202.7.247.207

Hi!
I have a set of four paintings that I believe to be by Jin Mengshi 金梦石.
I've been trying to transcribe the writing, and I would love if some of the experts here could run their eyes over my attempts, and also suggest if I am correct in attributing them to Jin.

First is the squirrels:
散形糸玉曜
耀来出金堂
夢石

Second is the birds:
I can't make out the first character, and the third in line 2 is a bit of a guess.
*之開不了種
忽放牢牛
金龢写

Third is the calligraphy:
岳峻基厚,流清源洁。动静无滞,方圆有折。举直平心,连从掉舌。独悲魏禅,终存汉节。骏发
苏孝慈墓志
梦褝 or 禅?
It's apparently an excerpt from a tomb tablet. Link below.

I'll add the fourth photo in a reply.

Thank you!
Zac
