Artist is Chinese。
Colophon reads,
己卯春仲　- Mid-Spring of the Year of Earth-Rabbit (1939)
Signature and seal,
鏡汀　- Jingting - Given name

Wu Jingting 呉鏡汀　1904-1972
Orthodox guohua painter. Learned painting from Wang Shigu (王石谷, subsequently received guidance from the modern painter Jin Gongbei (金拱北). Later joined Chinese Painting Research Society. Held various posts of Beijing Chinese Painting Academy.

Thank you so very much for your information. Many memories between my father and I are attached to these beautiful art pieces. Through the years he told me many stories of his journeys around the world and involving the art pieces he collected.
