Subject:Please Help Identify Japanese Traveler Paintings On Silk

Posted By: rat Tue, Jan 25, 2022 Both apparently dated summer 1928, genre paintings for tourists or general decoration. That on the right shows the eight Daoist immortals, not 100% sure of the scene shown at left. Seal reads Chang 昶, traditionally meaning "free, unimpeded". I. Nagy may be able to identify the painter's name from the inscription. |
