Posted By: Bill H Fri, Mar 13, 2020 I can't vouch for the source and relevancy of information, but I found a Wikipedia.org page (link) with data indicating that Hong Wol-hun (machine-translated from 弘月軒) was an alias or possible studio mark used by a Korean painter of the late Joseon dynasty (1392-1897) named Kim Duk-sin (machine-translated from 金得臣), lived 1754-1822. I believe the forum's accomplished linguist I. Nagy may be able to help with needed Korean transliterations. |

Posted By: Cassie Sat, Mar 14, 2020 Thank you so much Bill for the info provided. I did not realize the painting was Korean. I checked out the link for Korean painters that you provided and yes, the paintings are very refined. I hope I find more like them! |
