Nyut Hung "The Jade Emperor" is the Yao people's version of Yu-huang Shang-ti, one of the main Taoist deities. He is considered to be the supreme ruler of the universe, and is thought to be a synthesis of the ancient Vedic god Indra with the ancient Chinese god Shang-ti.
