The dynamic yidam or tutelary deity, with his Yum or sakti as he stands in tantric union within a red mandorla.

The blue skinned skull crowned deity in contrast to his red - skinned consort Vajrajogini is embellished with an almost invisible tracery of gold jewellery and attributes on a pink lotus base. Remains of the text which this illustration once illuminated surround the delicate, lively image.
