A standing portrait of Nawab Shakir Khan, facing right, dressed in a green jama brocaded in red and gold, tied with a gold patka with a floral border design and with an aigrette in his red silk brocaded turban; he holds a long sword with red scabbard, and wears elaborate boots. Mounted on an album page, the verso with a panel of calligraphy signed Fazl Allah, dated 1125 AH/1713 AD.

Shakir Khan was a noble under Aurangzeb, a mansabdar of 1000 sawar (see Ali 1997 p.70).
