Fig. 33:
Experimental reconstruction of the Medical College on Chakpori, Lhasa

Cross-section A / East-West
Research and drawing by Knud Larsen
2015

This is, for the time being, the final attempt at a reconstruction. It was presented at the IATS-seminar in Bergen, Norway 2016. The basement space is seen partly filled up with the rock supporting the tower. On the main level is seen the Prayer Hall with its mezzanine and the large window giving light to the mezzanine and down into the Prayer Hall. The tower is shown with its three levels of equal height accessed in three different ways: The ground floor level in the tower is accessed from the Prayer Hall by a few steps, the second floor is accessed from the mezzanine and the upper floor is accessed from the roof over the mezzanine.
