4: Village Double Dorje This extremely old lama seat was roughly but effectively created. Generally only lamas would sit on the auspicious double dorje. There were hundreds of thousands of lamas in Tibet and many such pieces made, yet it is rare to find two alike. The rough weave suggests this is probably from Kampa Dzong or Kong Po. |
