Posted By: Bill H Sun, Jan 29, 2017 This single-aspect view indicates you apparently have an authentic late 20th century quasi heraldic decorative dish in what the eagles suggest was meant to be the Teutonic style. The heavy ripple of the enamels and a Tongzhi mark would indicate it likely was decorated by a ceramics ornamentation factory in Macao. |

Posted By: Bill H Tue, Jan 31, 2017 I've never been keen enough on transfer ware to buy anything like this dish, which in the case of a paper plate shortage, might prove insufficiently lead-free for comfort should I chance using it at lunch for an already mercury-laden tuna salad. :( |
