This old book came from my grand uncle, can you translate this book and identify the artist?
it is about 11x6 inches and has 42 pages.
sorry, I only have pictures of the first four and the last four pages.

The Six Adornments School (style ? treatise ?) as taught by Qian Tairen (Scholarly name). A rubbing from a stone stele of the original text. The type of text more often made for copying of the calligraphic style than for the content of the text.

That's rubbing stone inscription Yan Zhenqing. The characters are sharp and clear maybe they were rubbed in early time when the stone inscription still in good condition. Other knowledgeable person may have further information for you
