Subject:Mark on carved figurine
Posted By: Marote Sun, Mar 31, 2024 IP: 2a02:a456:b176:0:11f

This mark is on a carved man/turtle figure.
I think this is the correct possition (with the top left characters being 生?), but I'm not sure.
Can anyone help me with the meaning? And is it possible to say what type of material this is (doesn't seem to have the usual signs of it being resin) and the age?

弘慧 Honghui

Honghui is a Chinese given name meaning "vast wisdom".
The material is resin.

With regards,

Thank you!
On one site I found a similar figure, and the information was that this would be depicting Fukurokuju or Jurojin. Is that correct?
And is there any age to this, or is just some recent tourist piece?
