Cheng Zhang 程璋　1869-1938
Yaosheng is his pseudonym.
Native of Xiuning county, Anhui. Followed his father to Taixing and Changzhou (Jiangsu), later settled down in Shanghai and studied painting with Yang Runzhi。Worked as lecturer at Tsinghua University. He painted flowers, feathers, grasses, insects, animals,landscapes and figures.
