Hi. In an attempt to facilitate the identification of the Chinese seals submitted in my Part I post, I have taken an image in the mirror to help visualize what the seal would look like on paper. Any help identifying and translating this seal would be so appreciated. Thank you. This is a wonderful forum. Please note that the third image is the image taken through a mirror. Once again, sorry for the poor quality of the picture. The Guardian Lions (aka "Foo Dogs") are very large and heavy. They are 7.5" inches in height and each side is 3" inches square. Each side has a well-carved and different depiction of a scholar, wise man, or immortal, (I am not quite sure what each carved man symbolizes ... any idea?) Thanks everyone !!
