Posted By: Bill H Thu, Nov 21, 2019 The left-hand woodblock of the first two shown above is signed by Tokokuni III, the assumed name of Utagawa Kunisada I, and has other marks indicating it was published in 1854 (year of the Wood Tiger) by Daikokuya Heikichi. It is the left panel of a triptych by this artist, as shown complete in the following link to the Boston Museum of Fine Arts: |
