Subject:Large Wooden Buddha

This Buddha, carved out of wood and 6.5 feet tall, was left in an estate by an artist that I worked for. I am trying to find out its origins. I have been told its Chinese, but am unsure. I'm also trying to figure out the value of it. Any help you can provide I would greatly appreciate.
