Wife just dug this vase out of years of storage and asked me if I could find out what the mark is and any information on vase itself.

Based on the style of mark, I'd say you have a probable late-20th century tea jar, consisting of a Chinese blank that was decorated in Macao.

Thanks Bill, appreciate the help. This was a gift from an aunt purchased at an auction in the late 1960's to early 1970's so it appears based on your answer it was a brand new piece used as "filler" in an antique auction hoping to fool someone into purchasing it thinking it was old.
