Subject:Help identifying signature of artist

Thank you in advance for your help. The painting has been donated to our charity. It is oil painting with asian landscape, the signature is clear but not to me as I have no clue of what it means. I believe it is 19th century.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is more than likely a 19thc Scottish picture.

The monogram isn't oriental at all, possibly "EMc".
