Subject:Help identifying artwork

Hi, I recently acquired this piece which was sold to be as a wood block print, but I don't think that it is. It appears to be laid on handmade paper all the way to the irregular edges (perhaps a silkscreen?). It also has a red (chop?) mark in the lower right hand corner. Any help you can provide with identifying this piece would be most appreciated! Best, Rachel

This is an apparently contemporary cut paper picture, I'd guess depicting the Qingming Festival, when Chinese traditionally tidy up or "sweep" the tombs of their ancestors. Since it seems to be modern, the characters for the artist's name on the red seal probably read from left to right in the Western style as Li Yang (利羊). Both characters can serve as surnames in case it was meant to be read the other way.

I know that Chinese are fond of giving away personally snipped-out pictures like this as gifts, and they probably bear more sentimental value than intrinsic.

Hmmm. I think I took those doubts about it being a print much too seriously. :(

Sealed 'Yoshitoshi' (義利). The artist is Mori Yoshitoshi (森 義利 - 1898-1992).
