These vases are of Chinese origin, recently manufactured in the style of Kangxi era famille verte enamel-decorated porcelain.

Thankyou TD, so being a modern piece will that mean the decoration isn't a depiction of a legend of some kind? Along the lines of the link

In the past and present, Chinese poets, painters, and artisans, like creative people everywhere, derive inspiration from their society’s natural, social, economical, political, and spiritual environments, and from the cumulative cultural history and traditions formed over time.

The theme of boys and boys at play, like those depicted on your vases, is a popular one throughout Chinese history. It conveys the wish for many sons and descendants who will achieve great successes in life and bring honour to the family name.

Rosemary Scott, the Chinese art scholar, has said that scenes of boys at play may be associated with the Daoist theme of the old regaining their youth and vitality.
