Subject:vase or brush pot identification

Was given this lovely little vase. Imagine it is probably a fake. Any ideas of origin. Think its early 20th century.

Why do so many people rush to use the word 'fake'.

This is not, not could ever be described as a fake.

It was not made to deceive. It is what it is - a competently made decorative vase.

It does not pretend to be an antique, and it has no false attribution to some previous time period.

It is not a fake.
