Subject:White jade carved statue,passed scratch test

I have this white jade carved statue,passed scratch test with a very high carbon steel knife,its 4 inches high 31.7 ounces.Is this a good carving,it's light green white Jade. is it crap or good piece

Despite your explanation, your pictures show the item to be light to dark brown.
Perhaps you should post sharper and true to color photos.

here are better pictures,it has a pink hue with light green white

It appears the workmanship isn't very good. You don't give the size of the carving. Assuming it is of reasonable size, it should have better definition. It looks like the melted wax version of a Jade Mountain.

Below is an example of a Jade Mountain. I apologize for the quality of the photo. I took it through the shop window. I also blew up a couple of the trees. I'm not holding this example up as the epitome of a quality jade mountain. However, the workmanship appears noticeably better than yours.

Mine measures 4 inch high,1 1/2- inch thick 3 inch left to right weight 31.7 Troy ounce,used a 440 c steel to scratch no scratch. Lab test as Jadeite-Jade.the monks have full facial features
