Subject:Want help identifying eight prints.

These are from a deceased friends collection who traveled extensively. Unfortunately we have no clue where they were purchased. I've named the files 1 through 8, but they could be in a different, specific order. What language are these prints? Is there an order to them? Do they tell a story? If you recognize or can translate, thanks in advance

these look interesting but I can't offer much help other than to say they aren't Chinese but Korean or Japanese

These prints appear to be modern interpretations of Daoist talismanic symbols.

It is possible that the inscriptions in the top left corner of some may give an indication of the origin or intent of the device.

definitely, please post closeups of the small inscriptions, they aren't readable as yet.
