Terri, your mark reads "Yasuda Zo" (Made by Yasuda). As Arjan mentioned, your Satsuma-style crackleware vase looks like a Kyoto product, and my google search of that name indeed did turn up a couple of references to a Yasuda Studio in Kyoto, where well known artists such a Ryozan are said by one source to have worked during the Meiji Period.
I've included the link to one of the sources here, showing what is indicated to be a circa 1900 Yasuda mark, consisting of the two-character name within gilt borders on a rectangular iron red field. Your mark is more casually written, suggesting to me that your vase may be a post-Meiji piece.
