Good evening!
I would be very pleased to receive an answer from your circle of experts to my question posed here.
I have owned a similar medicine jar for many years, which I bought in China without knowing in detail what it is. I always assumed that it was a medicine container.
The publication here confirms my assumption. However, in contrast to the object pictured, my set only consists of three vials. (see pictures)
If anyone can help me unravel the mysteries, I would be very grateful.

Generally, these Qing Dynasty foldable white copper medicine bottles are made of three or four links.
Inscriptions on your bottles,
臥龍丹　Reclining Dragon Pills
to treat heat strokes etc.
行軍散　Marching Powder
to treat vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain etc.
紅露丹　Red Dew Pills
to treat herpetic diseases

Unfortunately, the reverse side of each is worn beyond readability.

To summarize, could it be said that the three contents of this object were mainly useful to male persons, or in other words: are they a means of solving or treating venereal problems?
