Subject:Old battered Japanese scroll

Hi

Just acquired this although it's falling to bits. It's on silk but has lost it's backing making it hard to photograph. I've done the best I am and hope someone can identify the artist from the visible kanji. I'm pretty sure it's mount Fuji hence Japanese.
